Job summary

Westminster Christian Academy, located in Town & Country, MO, seeks a head wrestling coach to build a Christ-centered, competitive program. This is a stipend position starting with summer and off-season work before the official season.

The coach will recruit wrestlers, plan practices, manage equipment/budget, and foster relationships with athletes and families while upholding Westminster’s Pillars.

Qualifications

• MSHSAA coaching requirements must be fulfilled.
• Wrestling coaching experience; head coaching a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with athletes and families.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to develop and implement a vision to grow the wrestling program.

Responsibilities

• Promote spiritual growth in athletes through leadership.
• Cast and implement a vision for a 7-12 wrestling program.
• Develop strong relationships with athletes and families.
• Recruit and retain wrestling athletes in the school.
• Plan and execute organized daily practice plans.
• Manage equipment, inventory, budget, and eligibility paperwork.
