Qualifications

• MSHSAA coaching requirements fulfilled
• Wrestling coaching experience; head coaching experience a plus
• Strong ability to teach wrestling skills to diverse athletes
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Mature and growing faith in Jesus Christ

Responsibilities

• Promote spiritual growth in athletes through strong spiritual leadership
• Cast and implement a vision for a 7-12 program attractive to student‑athletes and families
• Develop strong relationships with athletes and families
• Recruit and retain wrestling athletes in the school
• Plan and execute organized daily practice plans
• Manage all aspects of the wrestling program including equipment, inventory, budget, eligibility paperwork, and non‑coaching personnel
• Communicate with families on a regular basis regarding schedule and logistics
• Work with parents on senior day and end of season banquet
