Qualifications

• Previous coaching experience at high school or college level preferred.
• Hold a current AED/CPR certification at hire.
• Must be a CDE licensed teacher or CHSAA registered.
• Coaches must pass CHSAA annual Coaches Exam.
• All coaches must hold NFHS concussion certification.
• Ability to supervise students and enforce CHSSA rules.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students and enforce district, school, league, and CHSAA rules.
• Plan, organize, and direct a specific sport.
• Teach and apply advanced coaching techniques.
• Communicate effectively with diverse staff and students.
• Promote safety and report unsafe conditions.
