Holy Innocents’ Episcopal School (HIES) is seeking an experienced leader to serve as the Head Boys Wrestling Coach and Program Coordinator. This individual will oversee all aspects of the wrestling program.

The ideal candidate will be committed to developing student-athletes both on and off the mat, fostering a culture of excellence, discipline, and sportsmanship that aligns with the mission of HIES.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive wrestling program for students in grades 6–12.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop assistant coaches to ensure a cohesive coaching staff.
• Plan and lead practices, match strategies, and athlete development.
• Support student-athletes in college recruitment processes.
• Conduct pre-season and post-season meetings with wrestlers, coaches, and staff.
• Organize off-season conditioning and summer training programs.
• Manage team equipment, uniforms, and budget needs.
• Ensure compliance with GHSA rules and regulations.
• Engage in professional development through clinics, conferences, and visits.
• Uphold and promote the school’s mission, fostering respect, faith, and service.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Proven success in coaching wrestling at high school or college level.
