The Head Women's Rowing Coach is responsible for all aspects of the University of Dayton Division I program. This includes recruiting, training, and retaining quality student-athletes. Recruiting is a balance of off and on campus efforts. This position instructs student-athletes for purposes of academic, social development, compliance requirements, and safety and health considerations. The head coach is responsible for the maintenance of all rowing facilities and equipment including the erg room, the boathouse, boats, trailer, etc. and must be knowledgeable and committed to proper on and off the water safety techniques. The coach is also responsible for hiring, training and effective utilization of an intern assistant coach, managing the budget, ordering gear, and fundraising. They will also need to work effectively with academic, performance and health support staff. UD Athletics employees are expected to comply with all laws, policies, rules and regulations governing the University, the NCAA and the Atlantic 10.
