Job summary

Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) is seeking a Head Video Analyst responsible for recording and analysing video footage of all first-team training sessions and matches. This role collaborates closely with the first-team coaching and technical staff to advance performance results on and off the field.

The position oversees the development of the club's video-analysis standards and manages the team of video analysts across LAFC 2 and the Academy, providing mentorship, guidance, and staying current

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • minimum 3 years' experience with a professional sports team or related role.
  • experience with data-analysis tools such as StatsBomb IQ, Impect, Sportscode and the Hudl platform.
  • experience operating a drone proficiently.
  • experience adding animation to video.
  • excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • a collaborative team player able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • effective English communication (verbal and written).
  • flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
  • valid US passport and willingness to travel with the team.
  • Applicants must have US work authorisation (no visa sponsorship).

Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) is seeking a Head Video Analyst, responsible for recording and analysing video footage of all first-team training sessions and matches. This person collaborates closely with the first-team coaching and technical staff to further performance results on and off the field. Based in Los Angeles, CA. Salary range: $100,000 - $120,000 per year.
