Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Fosters a community spirit aligned with the school mission among coaches, student-athletes, and parents.
  • Abides by rules of the school, conferences, and CIF.
  • Builds relationships with student-athletes, families, faculty, and athletics.
  • Recruits, mentors, and evaluates assistant coaches with the Athletic Director.
  • Plans practices emphasizing skill development, conditioning, and team strategy.
  • Instructs and demonstrates essential skills for team performance.
  • Coordinates game schedules, practices, travel, and field usage with the athletics department.
  • Represents the school at league preseason and postseason meetings.
  • Leads distribution, collection, and organization of equipment and uniforms.
  • Maintains clear communication regarding team expectations and schedules.
