Development of the entire football program with emphasis on fundamentals and teamwork.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Involvement in developing a district wide football program that serves the community of Allegan.
• Develop a strength and conditioning program to promote player development and support injury prevention.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to athletes to enhance their skills and performance.
• Organize and oversee team practices, competitions, and events.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all athletes during training sessions and events.
• Collaborate with other coaches to create a cohesive coaching environment.
• Monitor athlete progress and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
• Monitor and maintain academic standards.
• Other duties are requested by the athletic director.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit or stand for long periods of time and must manually move, lift, carry, pull or push heavy objects or materials. There is stooping, bending, and reaching. The employee will often be in a number of different schools and facilities in the area.

Seasonal for the 2027-2028 school year.
