Aurora Central Catholic High School is seeking a Varsity Girls Soccer Head Coach to lead a competitive program and advance student-athlete development. The coach will work under the Athletic Director to foster a positive, professional environment aligned with the school’s values and mission.

The role requires head coach experience at the high school/college level, strong organizational and interpersonal skills, and a proactive, self-starting attitude to engage students and the community.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervises and operates all phases of a competitive girls' soccer program.
• Plans and administers in-season practice sessions.

• Schedules all competitions with athletic director.
• Manages equipment, uniforms, supplies and materials.
• Develops fundraising projects and coordinates events.
• Maintains positive public relations with community through events.
• Demonstrates knowledge of IHSA rules and regulations.
• Represents the school mission and values in all activities.

Aurora Central Catholic High School seeks a Varsity Girls Soccer Head Coach to join a growing Athletic

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Athletic Director, theVarsity Girls Soccer Head Coach will be responsible for the

following:

• Supervises and operates all phases of a competitive girls' soccer program.
• Plans, organizes and administers all in-season practice sessions.
• Assigns responsibilities to and supervises all work of assistant coaches.
• Scheduling of all competitions in coordination with the director of athletics
• Oversees the issuing and collecting of all equipment, uniforms, supplies, and materials.
• Plans, organizes, and administers all in-season practice sessions.
• Assigns responsibilities to and supervises all work of assistant coaches.
• Counsels' student-athletes and sets both short and long-range goals.
• Develops and carries out fundraising projects as approved.
• Maintains positive public relations with the community through an assortment of events including camps and clinics.
• Demonstrates a working knowledge of IHSA rules and regulations.
• Supports the mission, vision, and values of Aurora Central Catholic High School and the Rockford Archdiocese.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Head coach experience, ideally in a high school, college, or university setting.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Team-oriented individual with the ability to take initiative.
• Ability to represent the school and program in a professional and enthusiastic manner to on and off campus constituencies.
• Knowledge of social media and methods of program promotion.
