Job summary

Williamstown Independent Schools seeks a dedicated Varsity Cheerleading Head Coach to lead the program, organize practices, and promote sportsmanship within the school and community.

Reporting to the Principal, you will plan the athletic program, supervise sessions, ensure eligibility and safety, and serve as a positive role model for student athletes. Immediate start; full-time expectations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 64 college hours.
• Minimum one year of coaching experience in a school program.
• Completion of KHSAA training requirements.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Promote sports in the schools and community.
• Plan the assigned athletic program.
• Organize and supervise practices.
• Teach skills, team play, strategy and rules.
• Instill sportsmanship and self-control.
• Check eligibility, including insurance and parent consent.
• Provide positive role model and guidance to students.
• Conduct learning experiences with student athletes.
• Recommend equipment and uniforms for safety and welfare.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
