Job summary

Gabriel Richard Catholic High School in Riverview, Michigan, invites applications for Head Varsity Baseball Coach. You will oversee all boys in the baseball program and report directly to the athletic director.

Responsibilities include planning tryouts, practices, game plans and camps; supervising coaches; and maintaining clear communication with student athletes, parents and staff. Must complete Protecting God’s Children, fingerprint background check, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• High level of coaching experience preferred but not required.
• Strong understanding of the overall aspects of baseball.
• Effective communicator for both parents and student athletes.
• Must complete Protecting God’s Children.
• Must complete school/AOD required fingerprint background check.
• Must have or obtain valid CPR certification.
• Develop and practice an Emergency Action Plan.
• Follow all MHSAA and CHSL coaching requirements.

Position Description:

Head Varsity Baseball Coach.
