Head Teller

Delivers excellent customer service. Oversees the scheduling and work assignments of Tellers and ensures compliance with bank policies and procedures. Trains and coaches Tellers to improve their performance. Ensures adequate supplies of cash for the branch. Orders currency, prepares and verifies outgoing and incoming currency shipments. Opens and closes the vault daily, controls cash in the vault, and distributes daily cash to Tellers. Prepares customer payrolls. Approves Teller transactions as appropriate. Supervises branch proof, teller recap, and reporting. Also performs daily Teller functions. Identifies cross-sell opportunities and is responsible for achieving the branch and personal sales referral targets. Maintains a positive, professional, and safe working environment.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Minimum High School Diploma/GED.
