Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Head, Technology Delivery to join the team of a leader in the Education, Government & Non-Profit space. This leader will oversee technology delivery execution, ensuring high-quality deployments, disciplined release governance, and strong testing practices across the organization. The role will partner closely with executive and academic stakeholders to align technology timelines with organizational priorities and student-facing needs. In addition, this position will help shape AI-enabled productivity strategies and drive continuous improvement across delivery operations.

Location: New York, NY - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $250,000 – $275,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Own product quality, testing frameworks, and release governance for high-performing technology deployments.
• Audit and improve delivery processes, implementing agile best practices for operational efficiency.
• Lead AI strategy by identifying workflow opportunities and developing ROI frameworks.
• Align technology delivery timelines and organizational and academic needs through executive partnership.
• Establish health KPIs to track team velocity and proactively mitigate project risks.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in technology delivery or engineering program management, including 5+ years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven experience optimizing agile delivery frameworks and quality assurance practices.
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML productivity tools in an enterprise environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent.
