Indiana University Health is seeking a BC/BE Orthopedic Surgeon with Fellowship training in Sports Medicine to serve as Chief Orthopedic Officer (head team physician) for Indiana University's NCAA Division I Big Ten Athletic Department. The candidate will join an established Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine division comprised of 7 sub-specialty surgeons, 2 general orthopedic surgeons, 5 primary care sports medicine physicians, and 14 advanced practice providers at their Bloomington, Indiana practice location. The division is part of a 5000+ provider statewide multi-specialty employed physician group with a large referral base. The position will include a combination of community-based orthopedic surgery and duties associated with Indiana University athletics, including game coverage, training rooms, and travel.
