Job description

We are seeking an energetic and experienced Preschool Teacher to join our team! You will be leading a class of students, assessing their current academic level and designing instruction to meet students’ collective and individual needs.

You are passionate about learning and helping students reach their potential. With strong creative and problem-solving skills, you love connecting with individual students and creating an engaging classroom environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Follow a curriculum which will teach children fundamentals.
2. Engage in activities that encourage learning and age-appropriate development.
3. Monitor students’ playtime and physical activities.
4. Work with individual students or small groups of students to reinforce learning of materials.
5. Prepare for lessons by gathering materials or setting up activities.
6. Enforce school-wide safety procedures, disciplinary codes, and rewards.
7. Ensure space and shared toys are clean, sanitized, and orderly.
8. Engage and encourage students to use their language skills; develop social skills and manners.
9. Document student developments and progress to share with parents.

Qualifications:

1. High school degree (Required).
2. Certification as Certified Childcare Professional from accredited source (Preferred, but not required).
3. Associate or Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, teaching, or related field (Preferred).
4. Must meet all state licensure requirements.
5. Able to serve as a positive role model and leader.
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
7. Patient and compassionate to young children’s needs and emotions.
