Little Sunshine’s Playhouse and Preschool is seeking a Head Teacher at its Four Points location in Austin, TX. You will mentor educators, collaborate with leadership, and help implement the Reggio Emilia-inspired Creatively Shine curriculum.

The role centers on coaching, modeling best practices, and supporting teachers to foster an engaging learning environment. As a Head Teacher, you will focus on mentoring, classroom leadership, and teamwork with families while ensuring licensing requirements

Formación

• Be able to work full-time and flexible scheduling – NO NIGHTS, NO WEEKENDS.
• Meets and exceeds state Child Care Licensing requirements.
• Experience in childcare, teaching, or related field with growth into leadership.
• Teamwork mindset, strong communication, organization, and problem-solving.
• Ability to build rapport with children, families, and peers.
• Be reflective, open to feedback, and committed to growth.

Responsabilidades

• Manage all responsibilities outlined for the Lead Teacher within the classroom.
• Collaborate with Program Director, Assistant Director, and other Head Teachers to observe classrooms and plan next steps.
• Serve as mentor and coach to teachers to support reflection and growth.
• Support staff through mentoring, modeling, and ongoing feedback.
• Foster family relationships with thoughtful communication and engagement.
• Participate in monthly planning and campus-wide training to strengthen practice.
