Rhetoric/Logic Teacher with School Leadership

Armis Dei Classical Academy

Armis Dei, a Christian, Classical, and Collaborative school founded in 2021, is seeking a full-time Rhetoric and Logic Teacher with potential school leadership responsibilities. We are looking for a gifted teacher who also aspires to head of school responsibilities.

Armis Dei currently serves grades 4K to 8th and plans to add a grade level each year until reaching high school. This year, we have 42 students taught by five staff members and several volunteers. While well-funded, we are not yet ready for a full-time head of school but are hopeful of finding a candidate who loves teaching and has leadership gifting and desire.

We pray for a candidate who:

1. Is a godly and good man. A man with a loyal love for the Lord, sincere in his faith, striving for godliness, and characterized by integrity and shepherd-like qualities.
2. Is a loving and active church member. Someone with a record of love and faithfulness in a local church, possibly with experience as an elder or deacon, who loves his wife, cares for her growth in Christ, and leads his children with love, discipline, and grace.
3. Is invested in classical education. Has actively pursued growth in classical education through homeschooling, courses, or training, showing a genuine interest in this educational approach. Experience in a Christian and Classical school is a plus.
4. Is a teacher. Loves to learn, curious, and committed to growing in his subject matter and other areas of interest. Communicates with zeal, care, and high expectations for students.
5. Demonstrates leadership. Willing to share and eventually assume leadership and administrative responsibilities as head of school, contributing to the school's growth and direction.
