Job summary

LULAC Head Start Inc. in New Haven, CT seeks a Head Teacher for our Infant and Toddler Head Start program to provide a nurturing, safe, and stimulating learning environment for children aged six weeks to three years.

You will lead a team of teachers and assistants to deliver high-quality education and care. Responsibilities include developing an age-appropriate curriculum, conducting ongoing assessments, and partnering with families to support each child’s development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Early Childhood Education with 12 ECE credits.
  • Minimum of three years of experience with infants and toddlers in childcare or educational settings.
  • Knowledge of early childhood development and best practices for teaching young children.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head Teacher for our Infant and Toddler Head Start program. As the Head Teacher, you will be responsible for providing a nurturing, safe, and supportive learning environment for infants and toddlers. You will lead a team of teachers and assistants to provide quality education and care for children aged six weeks to three years.

Incentives
