Job summary

The YMCA of Greater Richmond is actively searching for a part-time, experienced Swim Team Coach to take on the role of Head Coach. This position involves working closely with the Aquatics Director to manage the swim team program efficiently.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of coaching experience and must hold current CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications. Commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment is integral to our mission.

Qualifications

The Manchester Family YMCA is seeking a part time, experienced swim team coach to serve as Head Coach for our swim team!

DUTIES of a Swim Team Coach

The Head Coach will work closely with the Aquatics Director to oversee the operations of the swim team program including, but not limited to, scheduling, training, supervising, and evaluating swim practices and assistant coaches. Applicants must have some open availability during the week and weekends during swim meets, coaches meetings, and dive clinic practices.

QUALIFICATIONS of a Swim Team Coach

We are looking for swim team coaches who have at least 3 or more years of coaching experience and/or proven track record in managing a large swim team program. In addition applicants must have a current professional CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications. Current YMCA or American Red Cross Lifeguard or Ellis certification and YMCA Swim Instructor or WSI certifications are desired.
