Job summary

Life Time in Bridgewater, MA seeks an Aquatics Head Swim Team Coach to lead swim team workouts, train coaches, and oversee participant registrations at our state-of-the-art facilities. You will create season plans, run group workouts, and ensure safety and cleanliness of pools.

The role requires 2 years of coaching experience, ASCA/USA Swimming membership and Lifeguard/First Aid certifications, plus strong communication with guests and staff.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED
• 2 years swim coaching experience
• Member of ASCA and USA Swimming
• Ability to work in a stationary position and move about the club
• Ability to swim 25 yards/meters
• Lift up to 20 lbs repeatedly

Responsibilities

• Create an educational and safe experience for all participants
• Maintain positive relationships with participants
• Address member questions about Life Time programs and policies
• Keep pool areas safe, clean and organized
• Promote and sell Aquatics programs and services
• Coordinate with Aquatics Department Head, USA Swimming, and coaches/parents
• Attend weekly 1-on-1 meetings with the Aquatics Manager
• Write season plans and workout templates
• Register swimmers for meets program
