California State University, Monterey Bay is seeking a Head Strength and Conditioning Coach to lead the NCAA Division II program. Responsibilities include directing the strength & conditioning for ~300 student-athletes across 14 varsity sports, mentoring staff and coordinating with coaches and medical staff.

The role requires NSCA CSCS or CSCCa SCCC certification, progress in performance science, and a commitment to CSUMB’s values. Evening/weekend work and travel are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in kinesiology or related field with experience in strength & conditioning coaching.
• CSCS or SCCC certification; CPR/AED/First Aid.
• Collegiate strength & conditioning experience required.

Responsabilités

• Provide leadership for strength & conditioning for ~300 student-athletes across 14 sports.
• Develop sport-specific programs focused on performance, injury prevention, and development.
• Collaborate with coaches and sports medicine for health and readiness; monitor progress.
