About Us

We create transformative experiences for students through adventure, challenge, and personal growth. We know our programs change lives—but we need a master storyteller to bring these transformations to life and share them with the world.

The Role

We’re looking for a Head of Storytelling to capture, craft, and share the powerful journeys of our students and families. This is more than a content creation role—it’s about bringing transformation to life through written stories and video. You’ll lead how we communicate our impact, building a movement that inspires more families to enroll.

What You’ll Do
  • Capture & Create Stories: Interview students and parents to craft compelling narratives that showcase personal growth and transformation.
  • Produce High-Impact Video Content: Oversee and create short-form and long-form videos that immerse audiences in the experience.
  • Manage Social Media: Own our content strategy across Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and other platforms to drive engagement and enrollment.
  • Develop a Storytelling Framework: Systematize how we capture and share stories so they consistently inspire action.
  • Drive Enrollment Through Storytelling: Ensure that every piece of content moves prospective families closer to signing up.
Who You Are
  • A story-driven marketer who knows how to capture emotion and impact.
  • A skilled writer & interviewer who can bring out powerful, real, and inspiring testimonials.
  • Experienced in video storytelling, either hands-on or working with videographers to execute your vision.
  • Strategic & data-minded: you understand how to use content to drive enrollment, not just engagement.
  • A proven brand builder: you’ve successfully used storytelling to grow a brand, increase awareness, and drive conversions.
  • Self-driven and adaptable: you thrive in a fast-moving environment where creativity and execution go hand in hand.
Why This Role Matters

We believe our programs change students' lives. But if we don’t tell their stories the right way, at the right time, to the right people, those who need us most may never find us. You’ll be the person who ensures that every family considering us sees what’s possible for their child.

All applicants applying for U.S. job openings must be legally authorized to work in the United States and are required to have U.S. residency at the time of application.

If you are a person with a disability needing assistance with the application, or at any point in the hiring process, please contact us at support@themomproject.com.

Screening Questions
  • Tell us about a consumer / adventure / travel brand that you helped build through storytelling.
  • Tell us how your background aligns with Discover Term's vision and the work of telling transformational stories of our students.
