JOB STATUS: Full time (40 hours), 3 months - Temporary, Non-Union position

LOCATION: Spicer, MN

As a Head Start Teacher, you’ll spark curiosity, build school readiness, and empower families to support their child’s success. Make a lasting impact—one child, one family, one community at a time!

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Create Inspiring Experiences: Plan and lead engaging classroom activities.
Track Progress: Conduct assessments and maintain accurate records.
Encourage Family Involvement: Partner with parents to inspire active participation.

Support Inclusion: Ensure and inclusive classroom for children with disabilities.

Integrate Wellness: Incorporate health and nutrition activities.
Promote the Program: Assist with recruitment efforts to connect more families to the Head Start program.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• An AA or BA degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field (as defined by the Office of Head Start).
• CPR and First Aid Certification (or the willingness to obtain it).
