Job summary

Action Pact Inc. is seeking a full-time Head Start Teacher to provide a safe, nurturing learning environment for children. You will plan and implement early childhood development experiences in an assigned classroom in Blackshear, GA.

A minimum AA in Early Childhood Education or related field is required, and BA is preferred. This position includes competitive benefits and a 15-paid holidays, with a Monday–Friday work week.

Qualifications

• Minimum AA in Early Childhood Education or related field is required.
• BA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement a curriculum designed to improve physical abilities, social/emotional development, and mental skills of children in the program.
• Supervise, observe each child and make recommendations for improvements in individual educational plans.
• Coordinate volunteers and aides; work with staff on parent involvement activities.
• Keep written health, attendance, problems, and progress records for each child.
• Participate in conferences with parents and other staff to enhance child development.
