Qualifications

• Requires at least an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in child development or early childhood education.
• Experience with Head Start programs preferred.
• Intermediate computer skills, Internet and email capability.

• Provide developmentally, culturally and linguistically appropriate learning experiences in language, literacy, and math.
• Deliver responsive care and organized learning environments aligned with HSELOF.
• Promote trust, emotional security, and language-rich interactions.
• Model language using self-talk, parallel talk and open-ended questions.
• Encourage critical thinking and problem-solving with engaging activities.
• Utilize COR Advantage data for planning and assessment.
• Support bilingualism and biliteracy strengths for dual language learners.
• Plan with High/Scope curriculum and individualized learning experiences.
• Coordinate learning activities with teachers, parents, and communities.
