Job summary

Acelero Learning South Carolina is seeking a Head Start Teacher to guide preschool children (ages 3–5) toward school readiness in a nurturing, inclusive classroom in Wagener. You will work with an Assistant Teacher, families, and a multidisciplinary team to support each child’s academic, social, and emotional development.

You’ll implement developmentally appropriate instruction, monitor progress, and tailor learning experiences while engaging families as partners.

Qualifications

• Deep commitment to supporting young children’s social, emotional, and academic growth in an inclusive environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication to engage with children, families, and colleagues.
• Experience teaching preschool-aged children and adapting strategies for diverse developmental needs.
• Ability to work closely with co-teachers, families, and support staff to drive positive outcomes.
