This is a 260day position.The Head Start Special Services Supervisor has the overall responsibility for supervising the special services aspects of the Head Start program to ensure compliance with the Head Start Act of 2007 and the Performance Standards.

Summary:
The Head Start Supervisor of Special Services provides leadership and oversight of the program's screening, special education, and behavioral support services, ensuring compliance with CCIU and Office of Head Start requirements. This role supervises, coaches, and develops staff; supports families throughout the referral and evaluation process; oversees behavior management and disability services; and collaborates with the CCIU's ABA Clinics, Preschool Special Education, Behavior Consultants, Data Specialists, and other program teams to address student needs and improve outcomes. The position also contributes to professional development, data monitoring, Policy Council participation, budget and grant development, community partnerships, and recommendations for resources and materials to strengthen program services.

PRJ, Level 15, Exempt: $77,987 - $97,483/yr.
