Job summary

Mahube Otwa Community Action Partnership in Park Rapids, MN, is seeking a Head Start Site Coordinator to oversee the delivery of Head Start and Early Head Start services across centers, home-based, and partner sites.

You will train and supervise staff, partner with community resources, and coordinate services to help families living in poverty reach self-sufficiency. The role requires a 4-year degree and strong supervisory skills.

Qualifications

• Four year degree (BA/BS) in area to be coordinated (health, education, or family services or a combination of education and experience).
• Five years of experience in delivery of comprehensive services for families with children birth-5 years, including planning, organizing, and supervisory skills.
• At least five years of experience working with low-income families and preschoolers/infants/toddlers.
• Knowledge of Head Start standards, family systems, childcare licensing, and Whole Family approach; able to make program decisions.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise the delivery of HS/EHS services across centers, home base, childcare sites, and family services.
• Train, coach, monitor, and oversee HS/EHS staff in the field.
• Partner with program staff and community resources to serve families living in poverty and promote self-sufficiency.
