Job summary

Northshore School District is seeking an Early Childhood Education professional to serve in the Head Start Preschool Program as an ESP II Instructor in Bothell, WA. The role focuses on developmentally appropriate instruction for 3-5 year olds, including those receiving special education services, with fidelity to the district curriculum.

The position requires collaboration with the IEP team, family engagement, performance of screenings, and providing support to paraeducators and volunteers.

Qualifications

• BA in Early Childhood Education required or related alternatives as listed.
• CDA certificate with two years of experience acceptable.
• State ECE endorsement or higher within three years for certain tracks.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement curriculum meeting the needs of all children, including those with disabilities.
• Prepare daily lesson plans with literacy, language, and development activities.
• Record observations and share progress with families and IEP team.
• Provide accommodations to individual students per IEP.
• Lead family engagement events and conduct family conferences.
