Enrichment Services Program, Inc. in Phenix City, AL is seeking a Pre-K Teacher to support Head Start classrooms. You will implement daily lesson plans, help with learning centers, maintain safety and attendance, and partner with families to support development.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education or related field with at least one year DECAL experience; Masters preferred. Benefits include health insurance, retirement plan, paid time off, and professional development

Qualifications

• Minimum requirement: Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field and at least 1 year of DECAL experience with birth to 5 years age group (Master's preferred).
• Ability to communicate effectively with parents, children and staff.
• Reasonable knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices and safety standards.

Responsabilités

• Establish, maintain and manage classroom activities according to Head Start standards.
• Interact warmly and respectfully with children; support language, cognitive and social development.
• Assist in lesson plans, organize learning centers, and maintain classroom discipline using developmentally appropriate strategies.
• Recruit volunteers and maintain attendance, safety, and health practices.
• Collaborate with families to develop shared goals and objectives.
