Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Early Education or equivalent with Gateways Level 4 credential.
• Pass DCFS background check and maintain clearance.
• Commitment to YMCA mission and early learning.
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices.

Responsibilities

• Support high-quality teaching and learning in the classroom.
• Maintain health and safety of children at all times.
• Assist with parent meetings, conferences, and classroom events.
• Document observations and progress for each child.
• Collaborate with classroom team to plan lessons and activities.
