North Lawndale YMCA in Chicago, IL is seeking a Head Start Pre-K Assistant Teacher to support the Lead Teacher in providing developmentally appropriate learning experiences, effective classroom management, and engaging activities for 3–5 year olds. This full-time position starts at $21.04 per hour.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Early Education or Gateways Level 4 (or AA with Gateways), passes a DCFS background check, and offers competitive salaries, health benefits, PTO, and ongoing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or AA with Gateways Level 4 Credential required for the position.
• Pass DCFS background check and maintain clearance throughout employment.
