York County Community Action Corporation is seeking a Mental Health Consultant to join the Head Start/Early Head Start Leadership Team in Sanford, Maine. The role coordinates mental health and disabilities services across programs and supports staff and families.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Social Work and an LCSW license, with at least three years of management experience and a background as a licensed social worker. Compliance and staff training are key duties.

Mansioni

• Coordinate mental health and disabilities services across Head Start and Early Head Start.
• Observe classrooms and provide feedback to support positive classroom management and development.
• Provide consultation and support to staff and families.
• Develop staff training and workshops on special education, mental health, and social-emotional development.
• Supervise the Special Education Teacher, including performance appraisal and development planning.
• Ensure services comply with program standards, licensing, and policies.
• Maintain IEP/IFSP documentation in ChildPlus.
