Northeast Michigan Community Service Agency, Inc. (NEMCSA) seeks a Head Start Teacher to lead and manage a Head Start classroom, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate learning environment.

You will implement the program curriculum, strive for school readiness, supervise staff, maintain records, and collaborate with families to tailor programs to each child’s needs. A strong focus on safety and professional development is essential.

Qualificações

• Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education and two years’ Head Start experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education preferred; may qualify for Level 2 Teacher.
• Experience supervising staff and coordinating family engagement activities.

Responsabilidades

• Create and manage a safe, warm, and challenging learning environment for young children.
• Implement curriculum with fidelity and monitor progress toward school readiness goals.
• Hire, train, supervise, and support classroom staff and aides; maintain records and reports.
