Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Arizona driver’s license with good driving record.
• Able to pass background checks and fingerprint clearance.
• Able to pass pre-employment physical and students' safety checks.
• Proficiency in reading/writing/speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare breakfast, lunch, and snacks following CACFP and Head Start guidelines.
• Plan meals, calculate quantities, and place orders using centralized system.
• Maintain kitchen sanitation and food safety standards.
• Manage inventory, storage, and food handling per regulations.
• Prepare and serve meals with accurate portioning and labeling.
• Collaborate with staff to support nutrition education activities.
