Clayton Early Learning in Denver, CO, is seeking an Intervention Specialist for Head Start. You will coordinate disability assessments, support services, and IEP implementation to ensure students ages 3-5 receive free and appropriate education.

You will liaise with families, teachers, and external agencies, uphold Head Start requirements, and help create inclusive classrooms with social-emotional curricula.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Services, Early Childhood Education, Special Education or related field; Masters preferred.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience with young children (3-5) including children with developmental delays, disabilities, or behavioral challenges.
• Experience collaborating with families, teachers, and community partners to support children's developmental, educational, and social-emotional needs.
• Knowledge of child development, early intervention practices, and individualized support strategies for young children.
• Head Start/Early Head Start experience preferred; IEP/IFSP processes experience is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and support disability assessments and services for Head Start students; ensure compliance with Head Start requirements.
• Oversee identification, evaluation, and provision of FAPE for Head Start students needing special education supports.
• Initiate referral processes for disability and mental health services and coordinate meetings.
• Facilitate communication with agencies, consultants, and management to support early intervention outcomes.
• Serve as liaison for internal and external stakeholders around disability and referral services.
