Your day as a Head Start Head Teacher

As a Head Start Head Teacher at Early Learning Connections, your day-to-day responsibilities will be both rewarding and dynamic. You'll create a nurturing and engaging classroom environment that meets the diverse needs of all children in the Head Start program. Your mornings will involve planning and leading educational activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development, aligned with Head Start standards.

You'll also be expected to conduct regular assessments of each child's progress, using these insights to tailor your teaching strategies. Collaborating with parents and caregivers will be crucial, so you'll facilitate ongoing communication about their child's growth within the Head Start framework. Additionally, you'll supervise classroom assistants and volunteers, ensuring a cohesive team approach to fostering a positive learning atmosphere.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Completion of undergraduate program at an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in early childhood education or child development, or related field with 30 ECE credits, Elementary Ed with 18 ECE credits
