Community Action Partnership is seeking a Family Service Assistant / Site Supervisor for Head Start in North Platte. The role links families with community resources, supports center staff, and collaborates with teachers.

Responsibilities include recruiting eligible families, maintaining enrollment, coordinating screenings, and ensuring health and developmental services are met within timelines. Strong communication and supervisory experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Family Services Certification preferred.
• AA or BA in Social Work or Human Services preferred.
• Experience in early childhood, health, social services or related field.

Responsabilités

• Recruit eligible families and maintain wait lists; generate enrollment letters.
• Maintain funded enrollment and replace open slots within 30 days.
• Ensure health, screenings, and health service mandates are completed on time.
• Provide information to families and refer to community resources.
• Pursue partnerships and recruit Policy Council representatives.
• Communicate with families and participate in Head Start activities.
• Attend home visits, partner meetings, and community presentations.
• Ensure immunizations are up to date; assist in classroom as needed.
