Job summary

You Thrive Florida is hiring a Family Advocate/Case Manager to recruit eligible children for Head Start/Early Head Start and guide families through enrollment and ongoing support. You will coordinate with health services, document case management in ChildPlus, and participate in community outreach events to strengthen family engagement.

The role requires strong organization, confidentiality, and the ability to collaborate with teaching teams and community partners to empower families toward

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School Diploma and FDC Course.
• Credential or certification in Social Work, Human Services, Family Services, counseling or related field.
• First Aid and CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Recruit eligible children for Head Start/Early Head Start to meet enrollment requirements.
• Complete applications, parent interviews, and enrollment processes.
• Provide comprehensive case management to families and connect them with resources.
• Coordinate with health services staff to ensure child health requirements are met.
• Maintain and update family files/records per policies.
• Attend trainings, staff meetings, and family engagement events.
