Job summary

Community Action of Orleans and Genesee Inc. seeks Family Advocates to support recruitment, enrollment and attendance for the program. You will provide case management and crisis intervention to families, helping them access community resources and achieve goals.

As part of the team, you will encourage active parent involvement and coordinate with the Family/Community Partnership Manager to ensure program success. NYS physicals and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• BS in Social Work or AAS in Human Service or Health field is required.
• One year experience in the field of Human Service is preferred.
• New York State physical examination required.
• Own a vehicle to transport families (4 people) and kept on site while working.
• This position requires a valid driver's license, an acceptable driving record, and acceptable insurance coverage limits per agency policies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain recruitment, enrollment and attendance requirements of the program.
• Provide case management and crisis intervention for families.
• Sustain parent involvement within the program.
