Job summary

You will develop annual maintenance and repair plans, maintain facility assessments, manage budgets, and supervise maintenance staff, with regular travel to villages.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to work flexible hours as needed.
• Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in managing facilities maintenance or at least 5 years of direct maintenance work experience.
• Experience in supervising a maintenance crew is preferred.
• Basic knowledge in using a computer, and Microsoft Office programs such as Outlook Email and Word.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise maintenance staff using meetings and direct communication.
• Develop annual maintenance plans and budgets for all Head Start facilities in Bethel and villages.
• Coordinate preventative maintenance with staff and village sites.
• Develop and maintain maintenance and repair schedules and records.
• Travel quarterly to villages where Head Start services are located.
