Job summary

EASTCONN Head Start & Early Learning Education Manager leads the education component, guiding curriculum implementation and staff coaching across multiple sites. You will work with the Education Team and Director to develop and monitor programs that enrich the educational experiences of all enrolled children.

Responsibilities include coordinating coaching staff, ensuring program quality, and designing professional development aligned with CT ELDS and Head Start standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of training or program service delivery experience.
• At least four years of early childhood teaching experience; Head Start preferred.
• Ability to communicate with diverse backgrounds; strong presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate education and early childhood content areas across EASTCONN Head Start & Early Learning programs.
• Develop systems for administration and monitoring of classroom environments and staff.
• Monitor and evaluate program and staff performance to ensure quality.
• Develop individual education goals and procedures to meet child outcomes.
• Coordinate and maintain biannual CLASS/QCIT reports and improvement plans.
• Plan and deliver professional development for teaching staff and onsite MTSS.
