Qualifications

• HS Teacher I requires: Associate’s Degree in ECE or TCC/CDA with Associate’s Degree
• HS Teacher II requires: Bachelor’s Degree in ECE or TCC/CDA with Bachelor’s Degree
• HS Teacher III requires: Master’s Degree in ECE or TCC/CDA with Master’s Degree

Responsibilities

• Maintains confidentiality about issues concerning other staff members, children, and families of Enrichment Services Program.
• Respects and observes children's interests. Intervenes when needed to maintain safety.
• Enhances children's play with language, toys, and activities.
• Communicates directly with each child at the child's level.
• Engages and communicates constructively with individual children during activities and routines.
• Takes every opportunity to positively extend children's thinking and actions.
• Stays responsive to children's needs, questions, and requests.
• Encourages and models social behavior and expectations which are developmentally appropriate.
• Acknowledges feelings with sensitivity and demonstrates appropriate expression of emotions.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
