Community Action Marin seeks an Associate Teacher to support high-quality early childhood education under supervision. You will help implement developmentally appropriate curricula, support children's growth, and foster a safe learning environment.

You will collaborate with families, teachers, and staff to promote school readiness, while following Head Start standards and licensing requirements. Strong observation, documentation, and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires High School diploma or GED. AA/BA in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
• Associate Permit issued by CA Commission on Teacher Credentialing required.
• Valid CDA credential with appropriate age-level endorsement.
• Experience with infants/t toddlers preferred in licensed ECE setting.
• Knowledge of Head Start Performance Standards and CDE regulations appreciated.

Responsabilités

• Maintain active supervision to ensure infant/toddler safety at all times.
• Document observations and assist in development of individualized plans.
• Engage families and partners to support school readiness and child outcomes.
• Prepare learning materials; support classroom operations and routine activities.
