Two years related work experience.
Ability to read and understand instructions for cleaning and safety procedures.
Ability to safely utilize cleaning supplies and equipment.
Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written).

Responsibilities

Model HCDE and Head Start's mission, vision, and values.
Implement safety practices per department policies and standards.
Maintain indoor and outdoor facilities in a clean and operable condition.
Maintain sanitation and health standards when cleaning sinks, surfaces, floors and toilets.
Clean and properly dispose of waste and potential contaminants.
Maintain adequate inventory of maintenance and safety supplies.
Maintain health and safety documentation including center checklists and MSDS.
Actively monitor the facility for health hazards and inform supervisor of repairs.
Assist with the preparation, distribution, and documentation of children's meals.
Assist in the supervision of children when needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
