Job summary

United Community Action Partnership, Inc. in Hutchinson, MN seeks a Head Start Classroom Support to work alongside the Head Start Classroom Teacher, fostering curiosity, independence, and a love of learning while helping families engage.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist in kitchen food prep and cleanup, keeping areas tidy.
• Maintain accurate records and up-to-date logs.
• Lead health and nutrition activities to encourage healthy choices.
• Step in for Head Start Teacher when needed as backup.
• Assist with light janitorial duties as needed.
• Support recruitment and enrollment efforts for Head Start.
• Ensure a safe environment for children and staff.

JOB STATUS: Full-time (30 hours p/week), 12 months

LOCATION: Hutchinson, MN

Help create an amazing learning environment foryoung children!

As a Head Start Classroom Support, you’ll work side by side with our Head Start Teacher to spark curiosity, build independence, and inspire little learners—all while supporting parents to become their child’s greatest advocate.

• Stay Organized: Keep everything running smoothly with accurate and up-to-date recordkeeping.

• Be the MVP: Step in for the Head Start Teacher when needed - you're the ultimate backup!
• Pitch In: Help out with light janitorial duties when necessary - teamwork makes the dream work.
• Promote the Program: Support recruitment and enrollment efforts to spread the word about Head Start.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
