NEK-CAP, Inc. in Lansing, KS, is seeking a Classroom Para to support Head Start programs ten months. You will collaborate with staff to maintain a safe, engaging classroom and help keep adult-to-child ratios in line with licensing standards.

The role includes transporting children on field trips, assisting with lesson plans, and stepping in for the Teacher as needed. A high school diploma or GED is required, with preferred early childhood education credentials and certifications.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or CDA preferred.
• First Aid and CPR certification required.
• Background check completion and driving license required.
• Bus training may be required upon hire.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain adult:child ratio (1:10) in the classroom.
• Transport and monitor children to/from school and field trips.
• Fill in as needed by Teacher and Area Manager.
• Collaborate with staff to deliver organized experiences for all children.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all duties.
