Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 45 DCF hours required or completion within 90 days from the date of hire.
• National Child Development Associate, or completion within 24 months from date of hire.
• Preferred: CDA Certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of safety rules and assists in managing education, care, safety and well-being of each child.
• Develops and implements daily lesson plans aligned with HS funding requirements and regulations.
• Fosters learning environments following NAEYC guidelines and supports family collaboration.
• Ensures health, safety, and sanitation standards in classrooms, bathrooms and outdoor areas.
