Lutheran Services Florida (LSF) is seeking a Center Director to lead a Head Start/Early Head Start center in Florida. You will oversee daily operations, ensure compliance with federal standards, supervise education staff, and coordinate with families and the community.

Qualifications

• Three years of teaching pre-school or kindergarten plus two years of supervisory experience
• Certification in First Aid and CPR within 90 days of hire
• Knowledge of Head Start/early childhood requirements and safety procedures

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily activities of Head Start/EHS Center to ensure compliance with standards and inspections
• Coach staff on classroom management, emotional support, and instructional practices
• Schedule, assign, and review work; maintain staff records and confidentiality
• Monitor enrollment, meals, and safety; coordinate with families and community partners
