Job summary

Capital Area Head Start seeks an Associate Teacher to support a curriculum-based early learning program across multiple sites (Harrisburg, Hummelstown, Carlisle, Camp Hill). You will help implement lessons, ensure child health and safety, and engage families through community partnerships.

You will work with our inclusive education team, with opportunities for training, growth, and tuition reimbursement per eligibility guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CDA credential or ability to obtain within two years of hire is required or encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing lesson plans.
• Collaborate with inclusive education and support teams to deliver a curriculum-based program.
• Ensure health and safety of children.
• Engage families and communities to support child development.
• Deliver consistent early childhood activities across locations.
